Configuring the transmission of LLDP frames
By default both transmission and reception of LLDP frames are enabled.
To enable only reception (rx) of LLDP frames, perform the following steps.
1. Issue the <edit-config> RPC to configure the <protocol> node in the
urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-interface namespace.
2. Under the <protocol> node, include the <lldp> node element, which resides in the
urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-lldp namespace.
3. Under the <lldp> node, include the <mode> leaf element, and set its value to “rx”.
The following example sets the value of the <mode> element to “rx” to enable only reception of
LLDP frames.
